The Trainer Bench Model Equipment is a comprehensive system designed for in-depth experimentation and analysis of electrical transmission and distribution concepts. It consists of multiple functional modules, including a Generating TX model and a Grid TX model, which simulate real-world electricity generation and transmission. The system incorporates a VAR Compensator and RLC loading model, allowing for advanced studies on reactive power compensation, transmission efficiency, and load variations. A simulator with built-in instruments and a protection scheme ensures a realistic training environment while maintaining safety.

The input voltage for the system starts at a minimum of 380V, which is then stepped down to 300V through the grid transformer model. Further voltage reduction to 250V is achieved via the substation model, ensuring a final output of 220V to 250V suitable for local transmission. Three transformers with a capacity of 300VA each support the system, featuring multiple primary and secondary voltage options ranging from 0V to 380V. The equipment also includes resistive, inductive, and capacitive loads in various configurations, allowing for dynamic experimentation on power systems.

A fan cooling system with six units is integrated to maintain operational stability under different load conditions. The Trainer Bench Model offers external AC connection facilities, enhancing flexibility for various experimental setups. It enables a range of studies, including no-load condition analysis, ABCD parameter experiments, surge impedance loading, voltage regulation assessments, power handling evaluations, and reactive power compensation studies. Additionally, it supports voltage improvement through transformer tap changing and overall transformer performance analysis.

To ensure safety, the system is equipped with over-voltage, over-current, and earth fault protection mechanisms. The equipment comes with a two-year warranty and includes a five-day training program, an experimental manual, installation, testing, and a complete set of standard accessories. A set of connecting wires is also provided to facilitate seamless setup and operation.

This Trainer Bench Model serves as an essential tool for engineering education and power system analysis, offering hands-on learning opportunities in electrical transmission, distribution, and reactive power management.
