The specified system is a comprehensive electrical training and protection module designed for educational and industrial experiment purposes. It consists of multiple protection relays, motors, power supplies, and a mobile workstation to facilitate hands-on learning and research on electrical systems. The components included ensure safe, efficient, and practical experimentation with essential electrical protection and motor control mechanisms.
The Auto Recloser operates as an electromechanical safety device that automatically restores power after detecting a temporary fault, ensuring stable operation. It features adjustable reclosing times and durations, enhancing system reliability by minimizing downtime.
The Under/Over Voltage Protection Relay protects electrical equipment from voltage fluctuations by detecting voltage variations in a predefined range (160-280V) and responding accordingly. Similarly, the Under/Over Current Protection Relay ensures that the system operates within safe current limits (0-5A), preventing potential damage due to excessive load or faults.
The Under/Over Frequency Protection Relay maintains frequency stability between 35-60 Hz, preventing operational failures caused by unstable supply frequencies. The Reverse Phase Sequence Protection Module is critical in three-phase systems, ensuring proper phase sequence to prevent motor damage and operational disruptions.
A Transformer Overheat Protection Module safeguards the system against thermal overload by monitoring temperatures from 10°C to 100°C, ensuring extended transformer life and safety. The Auto Y-Δ Starter provides controlled starting for three-phase induction motors by reducing the initial inrush current and preventing electrical stress.
The system includes a Squirrel Cage Induction Motor and a DC Motor/Generator, both designed for experimental purposes. These motors feature copper conductors, stainless steel shafts, and aluminum yokes for durability. The Synchronous Motor/Generator is also included, equipped with a DC excitation rotor for studying synchronous motor operations and power generation principles.
A versatile power supply unit supports AC and DC configurations, with variable voltage outputs up to 440V AC and 240V DC, enabling a wide range of experimental setups.
The Mobile Console (Workstation) provides a well-organized experimental environment with a wheel-mounted cabinet system for easy transport. It includes storage compartments, a lockable cabinet, an auto-release sliding tray, and connecting cables for safe and efficient setup.
To ensure reliability, the system is equipped with overvoltage, overcurrent, and earth fault protection mechanisms for enhanced safety. Accessories include an experiment manual, standard accessories, and required installation/testing services. The package also includes 5 days of training and a 2-year warranty, ensuring long-term usability and support.
