The Universal Microcontroller Base provides a versatile platform for microcontroller development, featuring a socket for UM Series modules, an 8-bit LED with dual-color selection, DIP and push-button switches, a piezo speaker, adjustable reference voltage channels, and multiple connectivity options like RS-232 and USB. It also includes a regulated power source switchable between 3.3V and 5V and a 400-point prototyping board for custom circuit designs.
The PIC Microcontroller Modules support various package sizes, including 8, 14, 18, 28, and 40-pin PDIP formats, making them compatible with a wide range of Microchip PIC controllers. These modules enable efficient integration with different development boards, offering compatibility with microcontrollers like PIC16F, PIC18F, and dsPIC series, widely used in industrial, educational, and research applications.
The CPLD Xilinx Module features LED indicators for power and programming status and supports Xilinx PLCC44 packages such as XC9536XL and XC9572XL, making it ideal for programmable logic applications. Similarly, the MCS51 PLCC-44 Module is tailored for MCS-51 microcontrollers like AT89S51 and AT89S52, commonly used in legacy embedded systems.
The ARM7 NXP Module is based on the TDMI-S architecture, featuring the LPC2148 microcontroller, which supports both 16-bit and 32-bit processing. This makes it suitable for advanced computing tasks requiring higher efficiency.
The AVR Atmel Microcontroller Module extends compatibility with ATMEGA64 and ATMEGA128, offering flash storage of up to 128KB, RAM of 4KB, and EEPROM of 4KB, making it ideal for high-performance embedded solutions. Additionally, an AVR Programmer (AVR-910) allows programming via SPI, supports in-circuit programming, and is fully compatible with AVR Studio.
The Cypress PSoC Microcontroller Modules cater to varying package sizes (28, 44, and 56-pin), offering flexibility with models like CY8C27443 (16KB Flash) and CY8C29566-24AXI. These modules are used in mixed-signal and configurable embedded applications.
For PIC microcontroller programming, the PIC Programmer functions as a USB-compatible tool equivalent to Microchip’s PicKit2, allowing seamless program downloads and debugging.
