The Trainer is an advanced electrical training system designed to facilitate the study and practical analysis of various DC and AC circuit characteristics. It enables students and professionals to explore DC series, parallel, and mixed circuits while applying key electrical theorems such as Norton’s Theorem, Superposition Theorem, Maximum Power Transfer Theorem, and Reciprocity Theorem. The trainer provides a comprehensive platform for understanding the properties of pure resistive, inductive, and capacitive circuits in individual, series, parallel, and mixed configurations under both single-phase (1φ) and three-phase (3φ) conditions.

For AC circuits, it allows users to analyze real, reactive, and apparent power, as well as power factor measurement, by constructing vector diagrams of different circuit types, including R-L, R-C, and R-L-C combinations. The trainer also supports phase sequence determination for three-phase EMF sources, along with voltage, current, power, and power factor measurements in both star and delta-connected loads. It further facilitates the measurement of neutral voltage and current in balanced and unbalanced three-phase star-connected systems.

Additionally, the Trainer is capable of measuring resonant frequency and Q-factor in R-L, R-C, and R-L-C circuits, helping learners understand resonance behavior. It includes power factor improvement (PFI) device studies, allowing users to evaluate various capacitor ranges for optimizing power factor in electrical plants and loads.

The AC power source operates at an input voltage of 220V-240V AC (single-phase) and 380V-400V AC (three-phase), supporting various loads: resistive loads up to 1200W, inductive loads up to 350VAR, and capacitive loads up to 200VAR. The DC power source setup comprises two sets of EMF sources using cells and batteries, ensuring practical exposure to DC circuit analysis.

Equipped with a range of measuring instruments, the Trainer includes voltmeters, ammeters, resistance and capacitance meters, frequency analyzers, wattmeters, and power factor meters, covering a wide range of electrical parameters. Safety features include over-voltage, over-current, and earth fault protection, ensuring a secure learning environment.
